EBAC - European Board for the Accreditation in Cardiology

The "European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology" (EBAC),
a joint initiative by the European Union on Medical Specialists - Cardiology
Section (UEMS-CS) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), accredits
European CME activities of cardiology and publish on Internet the calendar
of accredited modules (Events, CD-Rom, Web et Articles).

on-line services
Action Présence Net has designed and developed and maintains the EBAC
on-line services and the EBAC Calendar and provides web hosting.
These on-line services offer to CME providers the possibility to register
to open an account from which, in a secured area, they are able to:
- fill-out and application form to submit their CME modules for an accreditation,
- follow-up the treatment of their application and proceed to on-line
payment when applicable,
- obtain the accreditation certificate of their CME modules,
- complete their files by adding some post-accreditation information
such as for instance participant's list.
The system includes services dedicated to
the secretariat and the evaluators to allow them to manage on-line with
the help of dashboards:
- application workflow and accreditation process,
- communication with CME Providers and evaluators
- event monitoring,
- calendar of accredited modules,
- interfaces with other information systems of the European Society
of Cardiology, some using web services (SOAP).

The EBAC Calendar is an open web site where it is possible to search,
by keywords or by geographical and temporal criteria, for EBAC accredited
CME modules and to know the attached number of CME credit.

Consultancy
for the "EBSC e-platform for Assessment of Cardiology Training and
Revalidation" project
Action Présence Net acted as IT consultant on the "EBSC e-platform
for Assessment of Cardiology Training and Revalidation" (European
project involving several pilots countries) in order to provide advice
and support to the business project leader:
- project organisation and management (macro-planning, risks management),
- formalisation of the functional and technical architecture,
- drawing up of the specifications for invitation to tender,
- estimation of workload and costs,
- selection of external IT solutions and providers.

Action Présence Net has designed and developed and maintains the EBSC
on-line services and European Cardiologist Directory and provides web
hosting.
These on-line services offer to cardiologists the possibility to register
to open an account from which, in a secured area, they are able to:
- apply for the Diploma European Cardiologist. To do so, they fill up
an on-line application form including an upload of scanned official
documents,
- follow-up the treatment of their application and proceed to on-line
payment when applicable,
- manage and follow-up their international continuing medical (EBAC)
and obtain an EBAC certificate for a selected period,
- manage the publication of their professional details and activity
in the European Cardiologists Directory.
The system includes services dedicated to
the secretariat and the evaluators to allow them to manage on-line with
the help of dashboards:
- application workflow and evaluation process,
- communication with cardiologists and evaluators,
- European Cardiologists Directory,
- interfaces with other information systems of the European Society

to search for practising European Cardiologists, by country or city. |

The National Scientific Research Centre (CNRS) and 17 research centres
constitutes the Chimiothèque Nationale. This chemical library on Internet
indexes and describes the natural extracts and the products of synthesis
provided by the member sites.
Action Présence Net has designed and developed the Internet site with a
registered user area integrating the ChemXtra® and JME Molecular® technologies.
After their registration on the Web site, users receives their personal
identifier to access to the "registered user area". From this area they
can launch multi criteria queries by chemical structures and sub structures,
put the substances found in a basket in order to request to receive physical
samples of matter. |
